Thanks to Vinyl Download, we now are going to be offering digital download codes with all of our releases, starting with INT012 and on.  The older releases will not be given one, unless we do a second press of a release, and we both agree to do so.  We have near 50-60 new items that will be added to the distro in about a week.  We are also currently in contact with a couple other bands for releases, as I am trying to take a step back from releasing every band that I like the sound of, and figuring out how to make this work in the longrun.  But there will always be buttons, and my distro of course.
The Fed Up! Discography is almost done.  We should be receiving the cassettes today, and then we will go from there.  Intellect now owns a professional shrink wrapper, so now we will also be shrink wrapping everything we can get our hands on.  Isn't that awesome?  Every release is now a professional release, unless there is custom packaging of course.  Sick!
Button orders have been extremely slow recently, sorry for the lag.  I have been juggling 8 different things at once.  Rest assured, you will get them in a timely fashion!

I just did a huge overhaul on the Intellect site.  We now are running Joomla 1.5, which means more secure transactions, and up-to-date features!  Woo-hoo.  We have a number of things in the works.  The 100 in 10 comp is almost full, with less than 15 bands needed,  we also are going to put out Lycanthrophy's (http://www.myspace.com/lycanthrophy) first Full Length.  I also recently got a shrink wrapper, so now everything will come shrink wrapped! (Except for the buttons of course).  The $2.00 cassette sale is over,  I sold a couple during that period.
We have some other projects we may be releasing as well, and we are still trying to make INT006 work.
That is all.

So we are pleased to announce we are going to release a current discography from California's Fed Up (http://www.myspace.com/feduphc).  This will be as usual in awesome packaging, and probably with a first pressing of 100.  This may also be  100% professional minus the cases.  We will reveal more details when we figure it out.  In the meantime, check out some of our current releases, and fund some of our upcoming projects!
I am going to be ceasing work from December 24th till  December 28th, and January 5th to January 16th.  Please keep this in mind when placing your order.  Rest assured, you can still place orders, and you will still get them, but it will tsake a little longer durning this time, as the first period is christmas, and the second period I will be out in San Diego, CA!  Anyone want to hangout?

The In the Shit - Boston Cassette is ready for order!  If you are interested in picking up a copy, head over to the releases section!
So I picked up a copy of the december issue of Maximum Rock and Roll, and lo and behold, there was a review of one of our releases.  Infidel's untitled album was reviewed, unfortunately it was in the demo section (being that it was a tape maybe?  Even though it isnt a demo).  They had some good things to say:
"I'm not sure where this band is from, but this listens like a forgotten-about '90s hardcore punk band from an isolated US region that didn't have a lot of resources or support, but had plenty to be pissed about.  At different places, the music and feeling of this demo remind me of ASS END OFFEND, USV, and CAPITALIST CASUALTIES (mainly in the vocals), with furious thrash, moody slow parts,  a lot of samples and spoken parts that don't seem gratuitous, and the muddy recording only accentuates the overall feeling.  I hate to say it, but INFIDEL is a lot more honest than a lot of what I hear these days. "
Score one for you guys.  If you are interested in this release, we have maybe 10 more left, so get in touch, or order it through the releases section on this site.

The Malachi - Wither to Cover the Tread cassette is out now!  You can order it by clicking HERE .  The pressing is already half gone, so if you are interested in this tape, I would pick it up ASAP.  The Malachi cassette comes with a 1" Button as well, which is limited to the amount of copies of the cassette, and no more will be made of that design.  So  get your hands on that while you can.  If I run out of copies these labels/distros should have them: Erode Releases, Midnight Sea Records, Halo of Flies Records and Skeleton Plague Records.  Or if you are lucky, the band will still have them.
This release prompted Malachi to give me the go ahead on releasing their first album on Cassette.  This will not happen right away, but will be somewhere in the beginning of 2010.  I am excited for that project, as I have great plans for that.  More  information when I deem it necessary.
The In the Shit "Boston" cassette is just about done.  I am waiting on the cassettes to arrive, then they will be duped on my awesome new setup that can duplicate 11 cassettes at a time!    I am hoping the cassettes arrive this week, which would be in time for the In The Shit show in Manhattan.  I am also waiting on the final pieces of the Great Friend of Mine cassette.  About a week after they arrive, they will be ready for sale.  That will complete the releases for 2009, as I need to save some money to fund more releases in hopefully a range of formats in 2010.
I changed the background colors for the holidays.  Yeah it is incredibly tacky, but the gray background was kind of stagnant and depressing for such a happy time.  A time of cold weather, stressful tests and  of course, food.  Feel free to contact me for any reason, and have a good Christmas/New Year!
